Rafael Benitez Wants to Stayed at Liverpool If He Get more Transfer Fund

Spaniards ready for hard talk with the chairman.

Rafael Benitez as his agent, Manuel Garcia Quilon, said that Benitez insist to stay in Liverpool. But he need a guarantee about financial stability and more transfer funds for next season. Benitez was a strongly wanted manager by Juventus, and had promised with four-year deal worth £16 million a year.

This meeting also held amid uncertainty of Torres and Gerrard future in Liverpool. Torres has been lured out to Manchester City with £70 million for the 26-year-old forward. Gerrard also wanted by Inter Milan, and Real Madrid, whilst Mascherano has been long coveted by Barcelona.

My Opinion
I still believe that Benitez can bring us to next success. Liverpool have done a very great perfomance last season. But then, we lost Xabi Alonso and leave a big problem on the midfield. Lucas and Aqua can't do as best as Xabi done. So if Benitez still stayed at Liverpool, I hope he don't spent the money for a wasteful transfer and buy a cultured midfielder with both great defensive and attacking ability like Miguel Veloso. If he don't buy that anchor guy, so Benitez will have to optimize Masch on defensive midfielder position and placed a good attacking midfielder like Miralem Pjanic, Toni Kroos, or Muller.
