Despite of very bad season, Kuyt still believe that Benitez will still be at Anfield next season. "The manager has four years left on his contract, so I don’t expect him to leave unless something else happens," the Dutch international told The Liverpool Echo. Kuyt also hope than Reds can add some key players and start to bringing trophies again.
Liverpool has ended this season on seventh place. So they will go to Europe League trough the qualifying rounds. Kuyt believed that the players also be honest and take blame to take The Merseysiders back to the top level.
"It has been a hard season and we did everything to change things," the Dutchman added.

"We tried to stay focused with things on the pitch – that’s what I did, as did everyone else. We just couldn’t make good things happen for the club."
